
Action Learning and Learning Sets
Action learning is an approach that enables your staff to work on real time, live
problems of organisational consequence and on issues which are of personal
consequence to them as managers.
Action learning is an effective method to support problem solving and resourceful learning in organisations and teams. Experienced facilitators create a positive yet challenging climate. You benefit from better decision making, more highly thought out and tested solutions to problems and a more systemic understanding of complex processes in your organisation. Also the focus is on practical action and performance which the facilitator will work hard to encourage. This is a method that can help you make change happen.
Usually learning sets have 6-8 participants and we work with your team over a period of months to work on issues. Ideally we'd meet for 6-8 meetings at times to suit you. We've found whole days are most beneficial and allow us to work more deeply beyond surface problems. Facilitators are all experienced in action learning and have experience working in a variety of organisational settings
